BIO

Hello everyone! My name is Ana Sáenz and I’m from Costa Rica. I started baking since I was 4 years old with my grandmother, she is my inspiration to start this business. She baked every single one of birthday cakes until I was probably 15 years old; ever since my passion for baking grow with years and I decided to make a career out of it. The Magical Spatula was created when I started at Brightwater Culinary School 3 years ago, mainly baking for my friends and family; until decided to open officially to the public as business this past January 2022. We offer custom cakes, fresh pastries, delicious desserts and much more...! Our products are baked with high quality and fresh ingredients from local stores; we have a variety of recipes: some from Costa Rica, some from my grandma and other traditional French/Italian baked goods. We offer gluten free, dairy free, sugar free and low carb alternatives too. We try to keep in our menu different products for every lifestyle and season without losing our beautiful Latin culture touch.

Class includes a snack upon arrival and local beers and fun wines!
